Characterizing the emotions and inner thoughts of an individual you might say is a guess. Yet, it is what I see in the face and eyes that I sketch to paper.

There is a story that everyone has and I try to draw this in expression and facial features.

Portraits are mere images of the face whereas characterizations are an in-depth look into the inner soul of the individual.
Can you see a story within the eyes of those whom you talk with?
Can you see any modesty or consciousness of with limits, and willingness for others to disclose to us their own thoughts and feelings as they are before us?
